Advised to return to his defense plant job, Cedric still plans on attending high school, and believes his dad can fix anything. It’s a wonderful world as Cedric enters the Jot Em Down store today. Isn’t he late for school? He wants to show off his English paper to Lum and Abner.
His theme paper is a little short when it only contains one sentence, instead of a couple of pages. Abner tries to coach him on adding to the sentence to tell how, and where he plans to spend his day next Saturday. Not just the one sentence to say what he’ll do.
Cedric doesn’t have time to hang around, so Lum decides to dictate a real theme paper. Relying on Abner to jot it all down, the expansive language gets Abner a little confused, but he keeps up with the additions. Will Cedric be pleased with the work of his helpers?
