He’s over his case of dandruff, but is also having his own wardrobe malfunctions.

After an introduction full of puns, Don walks out instead of doing the commercial. Has Jack just made his only real friend in the show upset? For the rest it seems to be only about business. Jack begins to introduce next week’s feature. Meanwhile, Mary gets a special delivery. Mary reads a letter from her mom. An Easter dilemma, tire shortages, relatives drafted and the army and hints about military secrets. Don finally returns, but will he do Jack’s commercial?

Jack gets back to announcing next week’s feature. He will be doing a game show giveaway. Instead of “take it or leave it”, his show will be “try and get it”. Phil Harris brings up Fred Allen and his recent appearance on the quiz kids the cast compared that to Jack’s appearance. As Jack gets in some insults at Fred Allen, Don makes a quick appearance, but still no commercial. Instead, Rochester phones in. He reports on the latest antics of Jack’s border, Mr. Billingsley. Why not just allow the man to shoot and Apple off Rochester’s head ? Will Don ever do that commercial?
