Before the show, Phil and Alice welcome a new station to the network, located in Hawaii. Mr Scot and his wife are going on a trip, and he wants Phil to take care of his poodle for a few days. With the dog, Madam Beauvary coming over, Phil puts aside his chore of painting a chair and checks on Remley. He's in the other room teaching the girls a new game, gambling at billiards.
