It’s a tale of organized crime, moving in on the school playground. The principle is confronted with Riley’s concerns. Riley proves his point by playing bookie, and collecting bets from the kids. It’s just the thing to get the principle on the ball to take action.

Word gets out to Big Louie, and now Riley is targeted by the mob for horning in on their action. Riley’s bluster gets him in hot water with Big Louie, and his cowardice ropes him into being dragged into being Louie’s playground bookie. What will Riley do when Junior calls him out for being a hypocrit? The guilt and pressure piles up.

With his secret firmly withheld from Peg, how much longer can Riley keep up his act? How long will his lies have to spread to maintain the cover up? Yu know that she’ll find out. Peg makes him come clean with the cops.

Now his moments are numbered. Remember that backfireing car from early in the show, it’s just Digger ODell coming for a visit. Should Riley be comforted, or concerned at seeing his old friend, the undertaker? Despite the usual graveyard humor, Digger gives Riley the motivation he needs to face up to Big Louie.

Fortunately for all involved, the cops have managed to make fast work of Louie.
