In Pine Ridge, the circus has been moved to its new location, and Grandpap has left the running of the store back to Lum and Abner. The two gents talk with Cedric about what the world looks like through their glasses.
They still don’t understand that they are just novelty gimmicks, and not real glasses. Lum’s magnify everything. Cedric’s make things look far away, and Abner’s are just plain blurry. Apparently, the salesman at the circus has outfitted glasses on everybody in town. Amazingly there seems to be an epidemic of headaches going around town. I wonder why?
Squire phones in with a report on how the circus is doing in the new location. The circus is doing well, but Lum and Abner won’t be able to make it. They are just suffering too badly from headaches. Must be something they ate.
