Riding in from the trail, all Britt wants to do is get some sleep, but the daytime noise is just too much. A particular commotion has him springing into action. There has been a shooting, and a man is down. The fatally wounded man lives long enough to name his killer, John Springer.

Britt joins the sheriff to check out the notorious killer. Are they on the right track? Britt offers plenty of voiceover commentary to describe the situations, and players involved. Just when Britt closes in, he gets a surprise tossed his way.

In searching for a hardened criminal, Britt and the sheriff find a fair young maiden. What does she have to do with Springer? Why does his trail lead to her door? It doesn’t take long for Springer’s location to be found out, and a gunbattle ensues. Listen in as Britt provides the suspenseful voiceover as the strategy develops. Will he catch his man?
