When a devastating explosion rocks Galveston, emergency workers scramble to rescue survivors and identify the missing. Investigating Vance’s last known whereabouts and retracing Lilian’s steps, the Rangers discover a key detail: the man buried in Vance’s place was actually Lilian’s brother. Her grief was real, but the cover-up confirms Vance is still alive and on the run. The trail leads to a remote cabin on a lake, where the Texas Rangers tighten their net. As a thrilling dark-of-night boat chase unfolds across the water, the Rangers race to capture their man before he slips away for good.
