In Pine Ridge Grandpap is once again in charge of the store. He and Abner talk about the blustery storm. Lum is taking the day off, due to illness, and the headache from his glasses. The two talk about the affects they see when wearing the fake circus glasses. I think Grandpap has some good advice, but nobody is listening to him.
Reports from Squire about the circus have all been good ones, so far. However, a late breaking report from Squire says that the tent has blown down in a storm, and animals are scattered.
Horlick drama: After going to the show, the husband wants something to eat, but the wife is concerned that his idea of a snack will keep him awake. Horlicks is just the thing to snack on and not be filled, and even help to get to sleep.
