As we look in on the little community of Pine Ridge, we find the men discussing the upcoming election. The women’s protective association has demanded to be put on the ballot to run in every position.
Squire joins Lum and Abner, and the concern is the women will run a corrupt election, tampering with the ballots, and coercing their men to vote a certain way. The guys try to brainstorm something sensational to use as their platform. Barring that, a little mudslinging, and gossip might not hurt.
