Lum is still trying to figure out where to place his new cook stove. Cedric listens to the instructions for cutting a hole for the stovepipe. Abner is on hand, but still has laryngitis, and can only communicate in writing. A matter that’s a little confusing to me in following the action in the store.
Doc Withers gets a phone call to help Sister Simpson. Is this a matter for outside help? Has he found his missing goat? He moves into trying to show Lum his yearbook from his medical school. Can Lum pick Doc out of the picture of his graduating class?
How’s the progress with cutting the stove pipe hole coming along? Ben continues rambling about his class picture. Lum finally has to make a decision about the stove.
PS: In Doc’s rambling of the folks in the picture of his graduating class, his fellow graduate is George Birnbaum. Birnbaum is the real name of George Burns, although his real first name is Nathan.
