In the living room in the small house halfway up the next block, we find Vic and Sade involved in a round of Rummy. Abbott and Costello – Hedda Hopper Sherman Oaks Gazette. 440224

Bud and Lou joke around about the news, and running a newspaper. Lou claims to be a great reporter. Sounds more like a peeping Tom to me though. Ken Niles even hops on the band wagon of offering news on animals. The jokes turn to good looks, or lack of them when Verna Felton shows up. Bud wants to make her fashion editer of his newspaper. Lou goes for the big headlines, world news. He phones Adolf Hitler himself, and Mel Blanc comes back with a passable, and funny, impression of that national leader. Freddie Rich plays, I Love You.

Burns and Allen – William Powell. 440201.

Seeing that no dinner is going to be forthcoming, George leaves to eat out. Jimmy Cash sings, I'll Get By.
