A chilling story of fingers that were nailed by death. A cop who usually walks the pickpocket beat and his fiancée spend an evening at Coney Island, only to face an embarrassing situation when he discovers his wallet has been lifted. The irony is soon compounded when their search for the missing wallet leads to a dead pickpocket found washed up on the beach.
While Mike manages to recover his missing wallet, it also yields crucial clues that draw him toward an amusement venue on the strip. Before long, three suspicious suspects emerge: the female shop owner and her two male henchmen. Mike and his girlfriend Ellen close in on the truth, but not without facing a few suspenseful moments staring down danger.
