Rolling back the clock a few days, we find Rochester doing some house cleaning when his work is interrupted by his gal Suzy. Jack is in the other room, giving instructions to his contractor to make some home improvements. Charlie Bagby, Jack’s piano player phones in to aske time off to nurse his cold.

Dennis visits to share what’s on his mind, and a piece of his birthday cake. Don drops in to return a garden hose. Jack goes through his mail and finds a letter from an old classmate from Waukegan.

The gang all go to the train station to meet the classmate. Mel Blanc gives the color announcements all through the train station visit. Jack bumps into the racetrack tout. On the way to the information desk, Jack runs into Kitzel, who tells about an argument with his wife.

Don has just run into the Sportsmen who sing, Go Where I Go. Finally at the information desk, Frank Nelson gives Jack the information he needs, and tells Jack where to go.

Dennis is found trying to weigh himself. The tout stops to talk Dennis out of going with Jack to the train terminal. After a few more chances to joke around Jack looks, but doesn’t find his old classmate right away. When he does, he doesn’t recognize his old classmate.
