Perry is a wanted man, and trying to avoid being picked up. What’s the purpose of this operation anyway? He’s trying to lure a killer out by playing on his curiosity.
Meanwhile, the prosecuting lawyer, Mr. Murtaugh, tries to stack the deck in his favor against Perry Mason and his client. He’s calling on a shady character named Sid, but when you deal with people who don’t play by the rules, there’s no guarantee they’ll play by your rules either.
