Back to the show. A song writer tries to pitch his work, but the songs are all rip offs and spoofs of old-time music standards. Jane and Richard pop in as an effort to help their professor friend, and get him a meeting to show off his concerto. Meanwhile, Al and Irma have written lyrics to the concerto in an effort to jazz it up. Hitting a blank wall, Al phones his friend Joe to help with a lyric, and finding a publisher.

With all the helpers in his corner, will the professor make his big impression? He plays his heart out, and the publisher says… why should I spoil it for you, just listen in and see how well things shake out after the help that Jane and Irma managed to do for him.

Jane offers some voice over description while the friends all wait in suspense. Will there be a sale of the song? Will the professor’s musical integrity be called into question?
