After Don works out a problem with his commercial, Dr Frank Nelson arrives to check on everyone… except Jack. Nurse Mary Kelley arrives from the slopes, still in her ski’s. Phil adds to the birthday humor. Will Jack be healthy enough to go home? As the cast get ready to settle accounts, Jack is upset over the bill, and a telegram from Fred Allen has birthday greetings. Phil Harris plays a jazzy tune to transition.
Rochester has squared up on the doctor bill, and came out ahead. A singing telegram from Jack’s dad wishes him a happy birthday. The lingering, extended greeting finally ends, and Jack is ready to head home in the Maxwell.
