Richard gets ready for a hot date with his best girlfriend Helen, when a client enters his office. A doctor has a problem with a patient in the psychiatric ward. The doctor’s amnesia patient continues to block out a period of time in his memory. Will Richard be able to detect what the lost time deals with?
Sitting in on the confidential session with William Carter, Richard needs to figure out whether the lapse is harmless, or something that could be criminal. Hypnotism causes William to relive the evening, and his date. Did he kill his girlfriend’s husband when he walked in on them together?
Who knows about the murder, and who would have been in the room that night? The girl has told all she knows to the cops, and it isn’t looking good for William. The whole matter smells fishy to Richard though. Can Richard convince his policeman pal Walt that William is being set up? A well placed trap is in store, and a little extra pressure makes a killer show their hand.
