Abner was about to let Lum off the hook, from believing the cops were still after him, and tell him that he was clear of legal charges. After some extra ribbing from grandpap, Lum has flown the coop, and headed to hide out in Mexico.
Today, Abner is worried about what to do now. Grandpap suggests running a newspaper ad, but thoughts of Pancho Villa, and starting a new revolution under Lum’s leadership race through Abner’s mind. Abner is so distraught that he and grandpap worry that Lum is already dead. To their surprise, they find his Will and read it. What surprises will be revealed in it?
Just then, word comes in about Lum’s whereabouts.
