After lunch in the Greasy Grotto, Riley has a fish bone stuck in his throat. The doc in the company infirmary finds something a little more serious, tonsil troubles.
Chester Riley shares the tragic news, and has the family as worried as he is, until they learn it’s just his tonsils. Still making a mountain out of a mole hill, he tries to explain the situation to his nosey neighbor, and co-worker, Gillis. Still no sympathy for Riley over the minor operation that he is facing.
When Riley takes his troubles to the doctor, he ends up mistakenly talking to a baby doc. What in the world do tonsils have in common with babies? Not much, and that’s what makes this bit so funny.
Riley just can’t be consoled, and goes as far as to write his last will and testament. As worried as Riley is, he gives the nurses a hard time. Strange how his friend Digger both comforts him, and makes him more nervous.
Just when he thinks he’s safe, ‘riley has to face his ordeal all over again. Just listen in and see what I mean.
