Vic and Sade – A Letter From Aunt Bess, Sewing Buttons. 431001

A black and white photo of an old-fashioned movie theater marquee with the name "Bijou" in large letters at the top. The marquee features several movie titles, including "The Lone Ranger Returns" and "East of Eden." A few people are visible walking past the theater on the sidewalk.
Rush Gook, who was born Victor Rush Meadows and adopted at age nine, is his usual garulous self, providing all the latest news from Edwards High School.

Audio is a little muffled. Sade is on the phone, talking with Ruthie, and needs to finish sewing on a button. Russel comes home with a letter from Aunt Bess that Sade at first mistakes for a letter from school. Since she is going out soon with Ruthie, Sade makes Russel read her the letter from her sister Bess, while she works on her button.

Interruptions conspire against Russel, and it annoys him when Sade lets the phone ring. To get the letter read, she makes Russel read while she talks.

PS: what a multitasker. Give that lady a computer, and open a few windows on it so she can email, browse the web, and stream some live audio. OTR of course.
