Adventures of Superman – Horace Morton’s Weather Machine part 3of6. 400614

Joan, Beck and Collyer posing for a photo. Joan is wearing a black dress and holding a bouquet of flowers. Bud Collyer in a suit and tie.

When we last saw him, Clark and Lois was in the home of scientist, Horace Morton. There has been an outbreak of crime in the neighboring town, and Rogers, the house servant is found shot. As the hailstorm is still raging, Horace Morton is missing. When he catches up with Lois and Clark, he is upset to find his loyal servant dead.
But Morton is even more upset to think of bringing police to the scene. Clark suspects that uncle Horace may have killed Rogers.

When the phone line is down, Lois sends Clark on his own in the car to report to the police in person. Will Lois be safe with her uncle? Clark decides to fly as Superman to speed things along. He finds the police of New Birmingham busy with a robbery. With his reporter’s credentials, the cops tell Clark about the bank, and the people locked in the airtight vault. Nothing can be done about the murder at the moment, but can Clark spring into action as Superman? You know it.

In dramatic style, he tears through the steel and concrete to rescue the victims. Rather than taking them out through the hole he tore, Superman continues through by tearing out the vault door. Now, that’s just showing off if you ask me.

Sneaking back through the night, Superman leaves the crime scene to leave the cops to wonder at the scene. Back on Music Mountain, Clark finds… well, just listen to see.
