Today Clark Kent is in Perry White’s office to take on a new mission. Missing Arctic explorer Alonzo Cragg is rumored to still be alive. Reports of a strange indian tribe, ruled by a king who never dies is the assignment to investigate.
Recently, another reporter had been sent to learn details, but he has also disappeared. Paula Cragg, Alonzo’s twin sister will arrive soon, and she has important details on how to identify her missing brother, she has a matching ring.
The previous reporter was given her ring to take with him, but just recently Paula recieved her brother’s ring in the mail. Is It really Alonzo’s ring? Perry thinks it’s Paula’s ring. The mystery is to find out what happened to the missing search party.
Clark rushes out to catch the train. We catch up with Clark again as he is on deck of a Northbound ship in the frozen Atlantic. The crusty guide that was hired tells Clark what he knows about why Alonzo first left, about lost treasures, and strange indian tribes. This same guide is the one who found the ring, but before he can tell Clark about it, an iceberg presents an immediate danger. With the crew distractged, Superman springs into action to clear a passage for the ship. Can he clear a way, or will the crushing se be too much of a match for the Man of Steel?
