Jack is teased about being the Peanut King, and vending machines that he owns. Mary enters to be teased about her fashion sense. Phil Harris enters to lay out the corny jokes about his being late. Mel Blanc even gets a word in when he complains about losing money in Jacks vending machine. Phil plays, Everytime I Fall in Love, but Jack has to cut him off after only a few bars. Jokes turn to acting, and Jack’s new movie, the Horn Blows at Midnight.

Jack gets sensitive and storms out, which is the cue for Phil to go into another song, Saturday is the Loneliest Night of the week. At Jack’s house, Rochester has to deal with the disgruntled Jack. Can Rochester soften up his boss enough to ask for the night off? Tuning into the radio, Jack discovers the cast hav turn the show into a quiz show. Although Larry Stevens takes time to sing, This Heart of Mine. Followed by, Goodnight Sweet Dreams Sweetheart.
