A young cowhand rides to the homestead with worrisome news. Britt Ponset has just ridden into town. What kind of family would consider the arrival of Britt as troublesome? A family with a gunslinger in it, that’s who. As the young fellows plan their confrontation, Britt offers a bit of voiceover as he makes his appearance in the town of Lockwood, and talks to it’s fair citezens. Word of the local gunslinger reaches Britt, and how he has been able to work around the law to kill his men. He forces his marks to draw first. Will Britt fall prey to his tactics of shooting in self defense?

The sheriff shares his concerns with Britt over the spectacle that the young gun has planned. Is there anything the aging lawman can do to intervene to keep the peace?
