After faking his love for horses, and ability at horseback riding, Lizabeth has arranged for Abner to join her for a vacation at a dude ranch. Lum seems pretty interested in the prospect, but since he’s running the store all by himself now, he can’t get away.
Where is this ranch? Grandpap and Lum do their best to get Abnert to tell them, but he’s just too confused.
It turns out to be near Las Vegas, which impresses Lum. Still confused, Abner swears he didn’t lose it, he doesn’t know where it is! Lum assures Abner its just out west… in Nevada. Oh no! Now Abner thinks Lizabeth is trying to take him outside the country.
