Vic and Sade – Mr. Erickson’s House Repairs. 390308

Art VanHarvey, Bernardine Flynn, Paul Rhimer, and Bill Eidleson

Rush Gook, who was born Victor Rush Meadows and adopted at age nine, is his usual garulous self, providing all the latest news from Edwards High School.
On the way home from school and work, Rush talks with Vic. As they approach home, Sade meets them on the front porch with news.

To help with a house that recently fell down, everyone is asked to do even just a small part in clearing things away, and rebuilding. A worthwhile plan, but will it intrude too much on Rushes busy teenage lifestyle? Surely Vic will be more responsible, won’t he? What about the responsibilities of the landlord of the property in question to make repairs?

At least we learn a bit about life in the quaint small town, and the characters of our heros, and their friends. Does that house ever get rebuilt? What about Sade’s concern for social graces? Surely her family won’t let her down.
