Note: I’m not sure the date is correct, but it’s the one that is on the file name.

The band plays, and the singers sing, San Fernando Valley.

Time for the first round of the game show. Ishkabibble shares a poem called, the Doodle Bug. The contestants answer fill in the blank questions, where popular music of the day offers the clues.

Kaye and the band play, It Had To Be You.

Ishkabibble is back to joke around with Kaye about insects.

Time for round 2 of the game.

The band plays as the vocalist sings, Poinsienna.

winners of the two rounds have a face off for the big prize in war bonds.

Kaye Kaiser plays as the vocalist sings, I Know That You Know.

Note: The audio gets skippy in the middle parts, but isn’t too bad for listening. As with all these episodes from the AFRS, the date is unknown, but the shows likely aired at different times, and in different locations through the war years. Many of his contemporaries either served directly in the active duty military, or in the reserve. I’m not entirely sure if Kaye Kaiser did, but it seems that he is referred to has having rank in some Command Performance episodes. It is said that through the war years he post poned all commercial projects, just to entertain the trops, and in part make these radio transcriptions.
