Steve and Lauralai are on to the small time swindlers who use the obituary column to victimize the grieving family of the recently deceased. It’s just the kind of small operation that stays below the radar of top headlines so it doesn’t put the public on warning. The injustice is right up the alley of the Green Hornet, but since he’s not here Steve and lauralai put together their own sting operation.
Lauralai poses as a widow with an irresistible phoney story, designed to lure in the racketeers. Malcolm poses as a deliveryman, claiming her dead husband ordered a parcel, and she needs to pay for it. Now that they have a nibble, how will Steve close the net on his small fish? Will the fish go along without a fight, or will they manage to team up and slip away.
