Voyage of the Scarlet Queen – Ah Sin And The Balinese Beaux Arts Ball. ep16, 471016

A black and white photograph of Elliott Lewis, a man in a suit and tie, standing in front of a microphone with headphones on. He appears to be speaking or reading from a script, with one hand raised to emphasize a point. The background is dark and nondescript, with no discernible details.

It’s monsoon season as Philip Carney sails the Scarlet Queen into another adventure. In port, he seeks out his contact for the Kang company for his next instructions along his sailing adventure in pursuit of the $10million prize.

In port Carney meets up with his contact, a character who is something of a cowboy complete with ivory handled pistols, and a warning about rival shipper Constantino. To keep up appearances, Philip is forced to attend a upscale ball at the palace, where his rivals will also be in attendance. In his typical fashion, Carney offers descriptive narrative of the exotic affair. Dancing girls, food, wine, and all sorts of entertainment. Of course, a fair damsel who catches the eye of our swashbuckling ship captain is included.

Philip’s romantic evening is exploded when gunshots ring out, and his first mate, Red Gallagher is missing. After chaos, and a thump on the head, Philip wakens to find himself sharing sore heads, and details with Red about what happened to them. Not wanting to trust her, Philip lets the damsel rescue him in his distress. Get ready for some intense and exciting voiceover as Philip, Red, the damesel, and the cowboy all fight their way clear. Who can be trusted? Secrets are soon to be revealed, and the fates of the enemies befall them.

In the end though things work out, and with instructions in hand, cargo and equipment firmly taken aboard, the Scarlet Queen and her crew prepare to set sail for another adventure. In epilog, Philip and Red share a few words about the fun and adventure they just wrapped up.
