Note: The announcer mentions the previous show, and interuptions of well wishes on the 16th anniversary on the radio. Personally, I didn’t catch a lot of that, though the flow of the dialog seemed filled with lots of off mike distractions. Probably due to that, the same script is repeated.
After the celebrations, we find Lum and Abner right back where they were, with the same time slot beingsold. Lum, Abner, Ben, and Cedric all sell shows to folks around town, and try to work out the show formats to please each sponsor, with Mose Moots being the worst about changing his mind. Eventually, and after
much confusion over the changes to the show production, the gang all discover they sold the same time slot.
