Blackie, Mary, and Farraday are on the town on Christmas Eve. Their holiday fun is disturbed when a burglar flees from a jewelry store. When he’s caught, the four gold rings he aledgedly stole are not on him. The jewler swears he took them, but he’s definitely clean when he’s caught, so what happened to the rings?

After the crook is let go, he is roughed up a little by another thug. It seems he wants those rings as well. The crook comes clean on how he disposed of the rings. At a Christmas party Blackie, Mary, and Farrady chow down, and talk about the case. Blackie has given it some thought, and figured out what happened to the rings. Now a search for Santa is on. The real question is who get to the rings first?

When Blackie finds the Sidewalk Santa, there’s no evidence he had the rings in his collection bucket, and he looks bad in front of Farraday. Blackie still has an idea, but will it prove out? To catch the crook, Blackie goes under cover as a sidewalk Santa. Worried that Blackie’s trap mayh put him in danger, Mary clues in Farraday to be there as a safety net. Will Farraday believe her? Will Blackie manage to not be killed?

Blackie ends up handing Farraday a big Christmas package, complete with the rings. The show ends up with a holiday message from Blackie and Farraday.
