Jimmy and Phillus are still suspected of being grave robbers, but when the sheriff helps to finish opening a 20 year old grave, they find a freshly murdered body inside. Why would somebody go through the trouble to open a grave just to dispose of another man’s body? Doc and Mayor begin to suspect big time gang activity.
Creepy events abound: distant shouts, bell ringing, a disappearing body, and more. Suspicions continue to grow about what Mr Parker and Miss Carol have been up to, will the pressure cause the truth to be exposed?
What kind of danger lurks in the City of the Dead? Jimmy and Phillus talk to each other, but even they don’t know everything about who the murderer might be. Prowlers are spotted, and in hushed tones, the suspense grows to heartstopping proportions. Gunshots cause Doc to spring into action, but who has been shot? What happened to the cherriff, and where is the body?
