His phone call with his favorite redhead is interupted when Richard Diamond gets a proposition of a different nature. A large thug named Tiny wants to hire Richard to find someone. Who is Al Brenner? When Richard goes to get more info from Tiny, all he gets is a meeting with his favorite police detective Walt, and no sign of Tiny.
Tiny has turned up dead, and worked over pretty well. Walt and Richard compare notes on what they know about the elusive Al Brenner. With dollar signs of the reward in his eyes, Richard looks for Al, a trail that leads to the Hillview Rest Home, and the notorious gangster who hasn’t been seen for a while. Can Richard avoid being killed to keep him quiet? Maybe he’ll just get a thump on the head for his troubles.
It’s a deadly game, but once Richard wakes up, he manages to play the gangsters against each other. Just when things become heated, Walt rushes in to save the day for Richard. Afterward, he spends a few casual moments in song with his best gal, Hellen.
