Cedric tries to take a grocery order over the phone, but he needs help from Doc Withers. Will Mrs Goshen get her dozen oranges? Where are they? Aren’t they those yellow ones? Why does she want mens long underwear?
Doc Withers still seems to be looking for a missing goat from last week, but he helps Cedric make the attempt to sharpen his customer service skills. More phone calls come in, and the doc fields the order.
Just then Lum and Abner enter from the rainy weather. Lum is the only one talking. Is Abner mad at him for being forced to ride on the running boards on the way home? What’s on the paper that Abner has been writing? Hint, read the title of the episode. Why didn’t Abner just say so?
