Phil and Don talk with Jack about zodiac signs, and it starts a trend for jokes to follow. Jack talks about his childhood, then Kenny enters and talks about his zodiac sign. Phil and Kenny are the same sign, and phil may be the lady killer, but Kenny just stuns them.

Twin telegram boys deliver two telegrams, and get in on the zodiac jokes. Mary reads the telegrams, which lets the secret of Jack’s real age out of the bag. If you listen close, you’ll learn that he’s 44.

Kenny sings, Sweet Rosemarie. Jack brings up his appearance on the recent Good News program, and talks to Kenny about Alan Jones, the tenor on that show. Jack complains about the treatment he recieved on Robert Taylors show, and some of his general mistreatment.

The play is a Naval adventure about submarines. Eddie ‘Rochester’ Anderson, who is not yet a regular cast member although now appearring as Rochester, is called on to help out. Phil plays, You Do Something To Me.

Submarine G1 is about to set sail, and Jack gives the crew a pep talk. Phil salutes Jack, but with a rude hand gesture. The sub is now approaching Panama, but they are losing speed due to hitchhiking sharks. When the sub runs low on fuel, they find a convenient underwater gas station. And it’s ran by who else? Schlepperman. The crew decides to forego the effort to break the record to get to Panama, and hang out with the mermaids in Schlepperman’s underwater night club.

Don Wilson closes with another yummie Jello recipie in honor of Washngton’s birthday.
