Fibber McGee and Molly – Looking For a Christmas Tree. ep383, 431221

Fibber has been holding off buying a Christmas tree, thinking he’ll get a bargain as the date draws near, and salesmen want to offload their stock. Downtown, the McGee’s talk to uncle Dennis about his tree shopping exploits. If he lives with them, why does uncle Dennis need a tree? Alice Darling thinks that being a last moment tree shopper is a stupid thing to do. The only thing she needs is a well placed bit of mistletoe.

Is Fibber ready to give up his mission? They find a lot that has plenty of trees, but its the same place where Fibber left a bad impression of himself last week. . Harlowe Wilcox happens along the McGee’s, but all he has advice for is the sponsor product.

All his friends seem to be undermining him, so Fibber and Molly duck into a grocery store. They find Doc Gamble, and talk about the kind of trees found inside the store. Is Doc a botany expert? Billy Mills plays, Jingle Bells.

As Fibber is feeling down on himself, Teeny arrives. Will she have a word for him to restore his Christmas cheer? Fibber gets an added pick me up when all his friends have a surprise for him. To wrap up, and at the request to repeat it from last year, Teeny joins the Kingsmen to sing the Night Before Christmas song.
