An outlaw teaches his son to shoot, but wanting more for the future of his son, he shares his plan to break away from the gang. There may not be much hope for the dad, but he wants to keep Billy out of trouble.
Meanwhile, Marshall Lightening Jim and his sidekick guard the stage coach. The bad guys are foiled, but in an argument later, the dad is shot. He survives enough to let Jim know about his son. Can Jim help set the kid straight? Can Jim get to the kid in time? Jim needs a new stage coach driver, and Marlow needs a new gunman for the gang, which direction will the kid decide on going?
