Miss Grant is the distraught daughter of a warehouse manager. Emotional secrets are shared including a mysterious Miss Maxwell who has a hold over her dad. An encounter with disgruntled cops leads Rogue to face up to a gunman who tries to kidnap him. Making a narrow escape, Rogue is off to question Miss Maxwell.
Is the blonde bombshell the kind of dragon lady who could mastermind a rash of arson, or is her crime limited to the murder of Mr Grant? A thump on the head awaits our hero for his troubles. When he comes around though, Rogue knows who to go after, and with the right pressure applied, he exposes a cover up. A plan to substitute fake furs for real ones, and in taking both the insurance money, and still having the real furs.
