In the Jot ‘Em Down Store, Abner talks to Lum about the lies that have been told. After the store closes for the day, Lum goes to talk to Squire about the fraudulent insurance check that he recieved from the injury. Is there some way to get out of going to jail? Will Squire have the answer? He knows about a Hindu miracle man, and will get him to come to town to heal Lum. Then the insurance troubles, and web of lies will be taken care of… right? It’ll only cost Lum for the favor.
