With the end of the oil boom in Pine Ridge, Lum and Abner need a new enterprise to earn a living. They decide to open a matrimonial bureau. Lum practices officiating a marriage ceremony. This business idea must be a good one, since Squire has come back around to try to partner up with Lum and Abner. If only Lum could find that contract he signed with Squire that frees him from responsibility from that oil well mess. The guys wouldn’t have to worry about being sued by Squire.

PS: Believe it or not, the Horlicks product is still around, although not so well known in the United States. It is more popular in Brittain and India, and still is being plugged as a health drink that helps you to relax and sleep better at night.
