The adventure begins at an archaeological site managed by Dr. English and his son, Robert. The peaceful dig turns into terror when Judith English’s scream echoes through the camp. In the aftermath, a frantic Dr. English recounts the gruesome killing of his son and the sudden abduction of Judith—leaving everyone to wonder: was this the work of a local gang, or something far more savage?
Judith eventually returns, but the terror is far from over. Mysterious figures begin to emerge from the shadows, including an enigmatic woman asking for the late Robert, and whispers of a sinister cult known as the “Brothers of the Living Dead.”
Shaken by the violence, Dr. English considers abandoning the expedition altogether. However, the resolute Mrs. Santos insists that the mission into Chile must proceed to uncover a legendary mystical fortune. As Captain Friday steps up to protect Dr. English, danger closes in. An attempt to ambush approaching footsteps goes horribly wrong, leading to Skip Turner’s capture and severe injury.
