Flywheel is forced to give the brush-off to an insistence bill collector. Shortly after, Rivelli enters asking for time off to attend a family wedding. Before things can return to normal, an unexpected guest arrives—a man claiming to be Flywheel’s long-lost Uncle Abner. He invites them to his farm with a promising proposition, prompting Flywheel to take the next train while Rivelli stows away.
Upon arriving in the small town, the pair sets off to find Uncle Abner. After navigating a series of classic one-liners and comedic mishaps, they finally reach the farm, where Groucho and Chico are forced to sing “Go West, Young Man” to earn their supper.
To inherit the farm, Flywheel must prove he knows a thing or two about agriculture. When the local banker drops by to discuss foreclosing on the mortgage, Flywheel pitches an array of grand improvement plans. However, Uncle Abner is so bewildered by their wild ideas and “help” that he ultimately chases them off the property with a shotgun.
