The transcribed story of the violence that moved West with America, and the man who moved with it.

Chester arrives late, leaving Matt a bit disgruntled with him. Soon after, the sheriff from Abilene arrives with news of a dangerous murderer heading toward town. While the sheriff seems overly confident, Matt remains cautious.

Later, during a quiet moment with Kitty, Matt is confronted by the forewarned killer in a tense face-off before the gunman heads out to confront the Abilene sheriff. Chester rushes to find the sheriff, but gunshots ring out, and the sheriff is brought down.

With the bad guy on the loose, Matt Dillon steps in for a showdown. However, the unexpected happens—Matt gets shot! Can Doc patch him up? Will Chester seek revenge? Or will the killer be left to go on a murdering spree?

While recovering, Matt discovers the gunman’s weakness. Pushing past his limits, he begins practicing with his shooting arm—ready for another face-off sooner than Doc or Chester would prefer.

As the old gunfighter saying goes: “It’s better to be accurate than fast.” Wyatt Earp famously noted on surviving a gunfight, “Take your time, but hurry up in doing it.”

Listen in to see if Matt has what it takes under pressure to handle this fast-drawing killer.
