Andy tells Kingfish about a strange encounter he had earlier in the day: a woman ran up to him on the street, confusing him with a man named Harold. Meanwhile, the woman explains the meeting to her lawyer, convinced that Andy is her long-lost husband suffering from amnesia. She hopes rekindling their courtship will bring back his memory.
Elsewhere, Kingfish and Andy discuss a brand-new business venture. They are certain they can’t fail—they just need to figure out what product they’re actually manufacturing! Their conversation is cut short when the woman appears again, inviting Andy to her home to meet her family.
At Miss Scott’s house, her two sons, Jimmy and Frank, hatch their own plan: applying the classic cure for amnesia with a swift thump on the head. When Andy returns to share his ordeal, his friends point out that Miss Scott is quite wealthy. Will dollar signs suddenly “cure” Andy’s amnesia, or will Kingfish’s scheme to separate the lady from her money backfire?
