Continuing the story from last week, Kingfish continues to fake his injuries, and convince his insurance company to pay him. His wife isn’t so convinced over his suffering, since he has energy to hang out with his friends in the pool hall. Amos and Andy come to visit him, and witness how terribly he’s doing after his accident. Will they help him get witnesses lined up, as well as his legal team?
Madam Queen talks with Andy about going to a formal dinner party. Will he have proper attire to wear? Taking a break from his women trouble, he returns to work out details with Kingfish. Might he borrow that formal full-dress suit from Kingfish? He agrees to be arbitrator as long as Kingfish can afford him a few bucks to get that suit. Andy sends his slow-moving friend, lightning to secure that formal suit for him.
The day arrives to try to make a settlement with the motorist who allegedly struck Kingfish. Gabby gives a few quick words of advice to Andy on how to be a good arbitrator. It’s looking like an open and shut case. A matter of utter disregard for human life. When Victor Moore arrives, in his characteristic sad sack manner, he manages to undo all the well-made plans of the gents. Who is going to end up owing who the settlement money?
