Alan is set to be the best man at his old flame’s wedding, but trouble begins when he stumbles upon a love letter he wrote to her ten years ago. After dropping it, the maid finds the letter, assumes it’s current, and mails it out! Featured music includes “Saturday Night (Is the Loneliest Night of the Week)”.
When the bride-to-be reads the letter, she misinterprets his old feelings and abruptly calls the wedding off. The orchestra performs “Panama” as chaos ensues. Will the groom stand for being snubbed? Will Alan be forced into marriage? What will happen when the groom catches up with him? As always with Alan, you know it’ll all work out in the end!
Bonus Track: Louis Prima (1945) – “I Don’t Want to Be Loved By Anyone Else but You”
