Lum is impressed with Zenora, the circus horseback rider. He chats with Grandpap about her, and his desire to travel with the circus, just to be close to her. But what about his gal back in Pine Ridge, Evelina?
Besides Lum, Abner and Cedric are to go with the circus as well. They have to say their parting words to loved ones. Cedric’s mom seems OK with it, but Lizabeth and Pearl are sad to see Abner go. Grandpap will be tending to the store for them. Now, Lum has to face up to Evelina. Poor little Evelina, Lum is concerned he’ll break her heart, but he just might have a thing coming to him.
