Jack is introduced for the last Jell-O episode, and Don claims to be worn to a frazzle. He calls the gang together to tell them about their very important sketch. Jack presents a cavalcade of his eight happy years with Jell-O.
The memories begin with the time Jack first met Rochester, as a train porter who didn’t know where Albuquerque was. The reenactments include sketches from the Buck Benny rides again series of episodes. Andy Devine is on hand to re-create the scene from a trip to San Francisco. Don explains how the feud between Fred Allen and Jack Benny got started. Over the years the show has presented many scenes from movies. From lost horizon, Jack plays Ronald Coleman’s part. Don recounts some of Dennis days first appearances with his mother.

The next chapter of memories features phone calls from Mary’s family. During an episode featuring the Quiz Kids, Rochester phones in with late breaking news about Carmichael the polar bear. What happened to the gasman? A seen from Jack’s home features Mr. Billingsley, his wacky border. Then there was the scene where Don invited Jack over to his house, but he forgot the telephone the little woman to let her know the gang was coming over.
As the sentimental journey comes to a conclusion, the baby new year is due to arrive, and Jack gives him a few points of advice.
