She seems to have that effect on men. When Bill Goodwin arrives, Gracie has trouble prying Tootsie away from him for a private conversation. Eventually, they have a moment and discuss marital advice.

Gracie tries to make herself out to be a siren and make George the happiest man in the world. Is the role-playing coming on a little too strong? The alluring method isn’t working. George discovers the secret of the book that Gracie has been referring to, and realizes how much she was trying to please him. Will he break down and buy her what she wants?
