Don Wilson rolls back the clock and we joined Jack and again grabbing a sandwich at the local lunch counter. Jack and Mary joke about menu selections, and service by the soda jerk. Mary notices a fashion malfunction with Phil Harris’s pants when he enters. Virgil the soundman arrives and gets greeted by complements from the soda jerk. Phil and Dennis enter, and Dennis remarks about using the weighing machine. He weighs 141 pounds, stripped. Wait! What? The call comes to get to the studio, but first Jack and Don conspire about his introduction.

Jack share some behind-the-scenes secrets about his recent leading lady, and Sheridan. He brags to Don that he’s already getting fan letters before the picture is released. Might Jack pull some strings to get Phil a part in his movie? Dennis asked to be invited to the movie set, and introduced to his favorite movie star. Before Dennis can sing, a knock at the door interrupts with a word about it to pay.
Dennis sings: I Remember you.
Jack introduces Don, and one of his world-famous one-act plays. We joined a married couple and their cabin on the edge of the Mojave Desert out West. The best thing to top off the meal of barbecued coyote, (with a bonus fur coat), is a bowl of Jell-O. When a starving prospector visits, he passes on the entree, soup and salad, but holds out for a tempting bowl of Jell-O.
The cast discussed their travel arrangements for next week’s episode. Rochester phones to interrupt the complaints. He remarks that Jack Benny’s polar bear came out of hibernation early, and the gasman is missing again. He also tries to work out his travel arrangements for next week.
